寄养家庭:急救与心肺复苏标准
First Aid & CPR Connecticut
Becoming a licensed foster parent in Connecticut means providing a safe home to a child in the care of the Department of Children and Families. First-aid and CPR training is part of the pre-service preparation expected of foster families before approval.
急救要求
In Connecticut, foster and prospective adoptive families are licensed under Regs. Conn. State Agencies §§ 17a-145-130 to 17a-145-160, and first-aid and CPR from a recognized organization is part of the caregiver preparation and health-and-safety readiness expected before children are placed.
The requirement is administered by the Connecticut Department of Children and Families (DCF), Licensing Unit. Certification should be kept current, and it is one requirement in addition to the pre-service training, the home study and the assessment of the family's suitability to foster.
